Certain items within our website including but not limited to fish, charcuteria, meats & cheeses are considered perishable and must remain below a certain temperature from our door to yours. To achieve this Portugalia Marketplace ships these items with ice packs within specialized insulated packaging.
In addition, we recommend selecting a shipping method that requires no more than 3 days to arrive to minimize the risk of spoilage. Shipments with perishable items are shipped from our Fall River, MA facility Monday through Thurs to guarantee delivery no later than Friday with the proper shipping method. All other orders will be shipped the following Monday.
